Global Sourcing -- 24/7 Shortage Buys

Arcadia takes a current market snapshot of a customer's complete bill of materials to assess component availability, pricing and identify long lead-time items. Arcadia's sourcing capability is comprised of comprehensive market data from authorized vendors, factories, and factory representatives, as well as authorized global market sources.  All resources are combined to provide accurate and timely market data, a true value-added resource. Arcadia immediately responds to urgent customer requirements resulting from shortages, RoHS compliance issues, obsolescence, allocations, and thinly distributed parts.  Arcadia delivers superior results based on its unique approach (the Arcadia Difference™), its unparalleled Quality Management System, and the strength of the Arcadia Global Sourcing Network™.  For more information, call the Arcadia sales department at +1 801/261-5300 or send an email to the Sales Department.

Kitting

Arcadia customers frequently have specialized requirements for parts sourced from myriad component manufacturers used to support a bill of materials, but for which lack of EDI (electronic data interchange), and/or lack of (component manufacturer or franchised distributor) formal vendor (AVL) approval, represents a significant supply chain roadblock.  The answer to this problem is frequently using the comprehensive global supply chain aggregation capabilities of Arcadia to provide a multi-line kitting and aggregation solution delivered in real-time (days or low single digit weeks, not months).  Arcadia delivers this solution based on accelerating global inventory, working with customer and component manufacturing engineering staff, and leveraging existing vendor relationships for expedited delivery of a total solution, allowing customer purchasing functions to focus on core supply chain issues and strategic inputs.  As with shortage buys, Arcadia delivers superior results based on its unique approach (the Arcadia Difference™), its unparalleled Quality Management System, and the strength of the Arcadia Global Sourcing Network™.  For more information, call the Arcadia purchasing department at +1 801/261-5300 or send an email

to the Purchasing Department.

EOL / LTB Management

OEM customers often face End-of-Life (EOL) and Last-Time-Buy (LTB) situations for hardware, parts and components critical to their end product.  Such parts are often not easily substitutable because of the costs of a re-design or regulatory compliance and re-approvals.  The solution often lies with programmatic open market sourcing from the spot market.  That plays to Arcadia's strengths of global sourcing and unparalleled quality management.  Frequently, Arcadia purchases customer requirements well in advance, holds stock inventories for the specific customer, and delivers against a customer schedule in a just-in-time fashion.  As with kitting, Arcadia delivers superior results based on its unique approach (the Arcadia Difference™), its unparalleled Quality Management System, and the strength of the Arcadia Global Sourcing Network™.  For more information, call the Arcadia sales department at +1 801/261-5300 or send an email to the Sales Department.

Global Sourcing -- MRP Cost Savings Plans

Arcadia assembles a highly targeted team in order to programmatically buy from the spot market against MRP demand, in order to save money vs. traditional channels for electronic components.  Arcadia delivers compelling cost savings while meeting specifications relating to part/performance, datecode, RoHS compliance, packaging, and delivery.  As with spot buys, Arcadia delivers superior results based on its unique approach (the Arcadia Difference™), its unparalleled Quality Management System, and the strength of the Arcadia Global Sourcing Network™.  For more information, call the Arcadia sales department at +1 801/261-5300 or send an email to the Sales Department.

Excess Inventory Management

Arcadia delivers tailored solutions for handling excess inventory for customers – including marketing items to Arcadia buy-side customers, consignment arrangements, and lot/line-item buys.  Arcadia's many OEM and EMS customers collectively have 24 million+ square feet of manufacturing space.  For more information, call the Arcadia purchasing department at +1 801/261-5300 or send an email to the Purchasing Department.
