The debut watch from Ember Watch Company, aptly named Rocket, is a stylish ode to science fiction. The 40mm stainless steel case features a deeply faceted design with sharp angles and lines, finished in a contrasting bead-blasted matte finish against the smooth, polished bezel. Combine that with vibrant pink or other colourful dials, and this watch wouldn’t look out of place in Starfleet Command. This fusion of retro and modern concepts is powered by the Seiko NH38A with a 41-hour power reserve. Ollech & Wajs has seen a surge in popularity since the launch of the C-1000 in 2019. Now, they present the C-1000 MKII, the first of their modern watches to receive a new edition. Essentially the same watch with an upgraded movement, the MKII replaces the ETA 2824-2 with OW’s bespoke Soprod Newton Precision P092, boasting a 44-hour power reserve.

Genius Watches pays homage to iconic watch designs and the watchmaking geniuses who came before them, with a particular focus on the works of Gerald Genta. Their Genius Hommage is a fusion of ideas, with the top half inspired by the Patek Philippe Nautilus and the lower portion based on the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. Powered by a Swiss-made automatic movement, the pictured version is the Fifth Avenue edition with a tiffany blue dial, inspired by the 2021 model that caused a stir in the watchmaking industry.
